Typhoon update Soulik and Cimaron
JTBC News South Korea reports Typhoon Soulik is affecting Cheju Island currently. The center of the storm will pass Cheju at about dawn on the 23rd local (not long from right now). All flights and ferries out of Cheju island are cancelled. The storm will make landfall on the TaeAn peninsula, South Korea, from the West Sea about midnight Korea Time (0001 Aug 24). Soulik will approach southern Seoul at 4am on the 24th Korea time. Winds are reported at 150 kmph. Rains are expected to exceed ten inches in the Southwest provinces. Schools, businesses, and bridges will be closed in the most affected areas.
