What do you think of this idea?

I FULLY realize that the word "prayer" in and of itself generates a lot of discord on DU, but hopefully "good vibes" and "well wishes" and just general support for those in need of it are more acceptable words and phrases.

DU is a community.

Periodically we'll see people post in different groups and forums here, asking for good vibes/prayers...whatever...regarding a challenging situation they're facing.

What if we have a monthly thread in this group to offer fellow DUers emotional support in whatever form that takes for each person? If we see a post elsewhere where someone is asking for good vibes or support, we can invite them to post or we can do it for them in this monthly thread (which I can make a sticky each month) to keep their request visible.

It can be a touchstone of sorts since regular posts disappear so easily in this busy community.

Just a thought.
