Karen Bowersox has a granddaughter, Maggie, who has Down syndrome. Karen would search the internet for clothing to fit Maggie's unique body style and was surprised no one was providing any such thing. So, she started making clothes and turned her idea into a business, Downs Designs, Special Clothes for Special People. They make jeans, capris, shorts and shirts and offer individual service for each customer. The clothes are comfortable, easy to get on and off and stylish.
