Starbucks donates coffee

Just wanted to share some good info. I'm not sure if it pertains just to our DE locations or if it's all over. We're doing a Broadway-type concert in conjunction with promoting our local food bank. We are going to be serving gourmet desserts and coffee/tea/water during intermission. My friend's hubby is in charge of coordinating the student servers and what they'll be serving, so he went to Starbucks to see what kind of a deal he could get on coffee and they said they'd donate it for FREE! They said since we were a non-profit, that was their policy. Our concert is sold out at 152 attendees, and they'll be providing 60 gallons of coffee (decaf and regular).

Soooo, if you are planning a charity event and need beverages, you might want to try your local Starbucks.

They didn't even ask for recognition in the program, but we're going to send a thank-you note and put a 'thank you' in both the program and at each table on the dessert 'menu'.

They'd donate lunch for like 60 kids twice a year and didn't ask for recognition in the program either.

Kudos, Starbucks and Chipotle!!!
