Elizabeth Warren
Related: About this forumElizabeth Warren Proposed to Her Husband Because That’s How She Rolls
Sunday marked Senator Elizabeth Warrens 35th wedding anniversary to her husband and fellow Harvard Law professor, Bruce Mann. In a Facebook post celebrating the anniversary, the Democrat from Massachusetts revealed that, much like her role creating and overseeing the Troubled Asset Relief Program, she was the architect of the legal power couples wedding.
Basically, she proposed to him.
She also added that she hoped to live in an America where everyone can marry their own Bruce their best friend, biggest supporter, and love of their life.

I love both our MA Senators Democrats Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey!

(4,772 posts)2. My wife demanded we get married
so in a sense she proposed to me.
I was working on building a web site in 1998 in my office. She walked in, told me when, where, who was doing the ceremony and who was coming.
I said. Yes, dear.
