Ms. Warren, who is beloved among liberals as a fierce critic of what she sees as the abuses of the financial industry, has repeatedly ruled out running for president in 2016. Lacey Rose, a spokeswoman for the senator, reiterated that stance in an email on Sunday. As Senator Warren has said many times, she is not running for president and doesnt support these draft campaigns, Ms. Rose wrote.

(6,568 posts)It's just every time someone posts a direct quote of her not running, there's parsing of phrases and people saying we need to draft (ie, force) her to run. It's wrong, IMHO. Especially when Sanders is actively talking about running, and he's more in line with Warren than Clinton.

She doesn't seem to be offended by the draft Warren campaigns - when told by MoveOn and DFA of what they were up to, her people said OK, nt "good" or "please don't".
