Youve heard of Ready for Hillary, but now theres Ready for Warren.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has said over and over that she will not run for president in 2016, but that isnt stopping her fans from encouraging her to run. A group of activists has launched the Ready for Warren campaign, asking people to sign a petition urging the Massachusetts Democrat to pursue a presidential bid.
We are Ready for Elizabeth Warren to run for President in 2016, a statement on the website reads. Warren is the backbone that the Democratic Party too often forgets it needs. Warren has inspired a movement yet to jump into the race for president, we need to show Warren that shes got support all across the country, from Oklahoma to Massachusetts, from Florida to Nevada. We know that Warren can win, but its up to all of us to make it happen.

(3,226 posts)Imagine what would happen if next year Hillary held a press conference where she ask all of her supporters to back Elizabeth Warren for Pres. I do not expect this to happen but it would really F up the opposition who has been working for years to defeat Hillary. It would also establish Hillary as one of the most powerful Democrats since Ted Kennedy.

Anyone and anything that reminds the Democratic Party of its core values is fine with me.
(Please. No excuses, no rationalizations, no bs about why Democrats can't be Democrats. Save it for someone who buys it.)
