Gun violence rages with at least 20 mass shootings recorded over Memorial Day Weekend
Gun violence erupted across the U.S. over Memorial Day weekend: At least 20 mass shootings left 16 people dead and over 80 injured.
The Gun Violence Archive, which tracks mass shootings, logged 20 incidents in which at least four people were injured or killed, not including shooters, from Friday afternoon through Monday night.
The bloodshed started with a spree in Arizona, where a 20-year-old man was accused of killing four people and injuring one in five different shootings in the Phoenix area.
Over the next three days, people were killed and injured in Virginia, Mississippi, New Mexico, Illinois and more. And Monday evening, as Memorial Day revelers in Hollywood Beach, Florida, celebrated the holiday, nine people were injured by gunfire along a boardwalk.

Second Amendment absolutist Gunners gotta gun -- and innocent people die. To the rest of the world, and rightfully so, Americans are dangerous and violent people.

(67,112 posts)1. And national and international travel warnings have been issued. It's incredible, but that NRA and
manufacturer's money is so good, and one can't go against their constituents ... they'll lose that cushy congressional money. In Florida now just about anyone can get a gun and carry it concealed. Everything is so f'ed up. The governor of Florida just laughs about it ... the warnings he says are all political. WTF!

(6,641 posts)2. And it's worthwhile to point out that
Republicans and other right-wingers only espouse "anti" issues: anti-abortion, anti-gay and LGBTB, anti-gun control, anti-public health regulations, anti-separation of church and state, anti-poverty assistance, anti-homeless assistance, and the list goes on.
MAGA = Monsters Against a Greater America.
