A lighter (than policy) note: Look at this gun nut verklempt over CO gun reform laws - almost crying
NOTE: I can count the number of Groups I've ventured into on less than one hand. I am a generalist, adhere to the broad items of our Democratic agenda, but am near zero on the intricacies of policy. I spend a lot of time on YouTube and just happened on this video, attracted by curiosity about the Title, to learn about a Democratic success story and how it might be a model. But while savoring that part of it, this gun nut PRACTICALLY CRYING got me to cracking up and thought others might enjoy it.
If this post is inappropriate in this Group, please give me a heads up to Self-Delete without a Demerit, please/thanks.

(54,770 posts)gun-humper Ive heard. He seems to recognize something needs to be done.
Did he ever say what kind of assault weapons ban he supports? I skipped around a bit.

(14,559 posts)go with it was such fun.
Five or six years ago everything was going the gunner's way. Any discussion of any violence legislation was met with "what's in it for ME?" It was like, 'if you want universal background checks? Give US something like legalize full auto machine guns over the counter at CVS.'
Shoe's on the other foot now with Bloomberg funding Mom's Demand Action, Everytown for Gun Safety, the Trace plus the Giffords organization keeping guns in the public eye. State's are still running amok but we are closer and closer to National Legislation that preempts state laws which scares shit out them.
Thanks again.
