Ok, so Airsoft guns (toys that shoot plastic BBs) are marked with red tips on the barrels
to identify them as non lethal toys. So why is Ruger marketing this???

(1,958 posts)It appears to be a cutaway to ahow features inside the handgun. I do not believe Rugsr is making gun with red parts in order to make it look like a toy.

(1,958 posts)It is a computer generated graphic the show the inside of the gun. Here is a link to a similar image that is blue.

The 'red anodized' is referring to grips that are available and the are actually rust colord and not really red, certainly not the red in the image you posted.

(14,559 posts)There's nothing about grips and both images have standard black grips. There are no optional grips illustrated.
If you still refuse to believe that Ruger is marketing a gun with a red anodized barrel please don't bother to reply.

(1,958 posts)Ruger is not selling a gun which cannot function.

(14,559 posts)or you really know absolutely nothing about firearms. The link below shows a variety of finishes for the 22/45 which functions pretty dam well.

If it's not enough to see it directly on the Ruger site, try this link to a review of the gun that functions pretty dam well. But don't take my word for it, take the word of Jeff Quinn.
