after years of watching videos on du, this message now pops up whenever i click "play"

it now pops up on every video , and, of course nothing happens.

i am signed in to du. where else do i have to sign in ????

And tablet. I switched my browser to Firefox and have had no problem since.

4. It is probably your security software - especially if it automatically goes into VPN mode (virtual private network).

My security software automatically turns on the VPN after restarting or a cold start. You-tube videos do exactly the same for me until it is turned off (then it loads automatically). The VPN is a good idea for any financial transactions or purchases, however (better protection for those situations).

5. Apparently it's not DU but YouTube where most of the videos come from.

But I switched to duck duck go and the pop ups get blocked seamlessly. It's a much better user experience.

It tells me to sign in when I’m already signed in. Once in YouTube, I now have to search out the video as it does not take me to the video that I wanted to view.

10. I had this issue too. Try clicking on the lower left Watch on YouTube area instead of hitting the play button.

It will then take you to YouTube and then hit play. I am on an iPad using Safari.
