I'd love a way to hide posts with red and blue dots (tweets and videos) - is there one?

I am glad that they can be easily identified - but an ability to just automatically make them vanish from the latest thread page, etc would be great.

2. Unless I'm mistaken, only the flags can be hidden - not the posts

Those flags are helpful, as I’ve been trying to avoid links to the wretched remains of Twitter. Sometimes the temptation is too great and I’ll watch an occasional video, but I don’t want to reward the muskrat - even if he only makes 1/1000 of a cent per click. I have no idea what he gets in actuality, but even if it’s negligible, it’s still galling.

If you know that you do not want to see any threads with videos, the best you can do at the moment would be to trash the Cable News Clips forum and the Liberal YouTubers forum. That will not get rid of all videos, and won't get rid of OPs with tweets in them, but it will significantly reduce the number of videos that you see on the Latest page.

skim the thread title and the name of the DUer who posted it, to decide if you want to look at it.

6. Agree.. The really long videos might need another color flag, however.

as to "how long is too long," that varies on my mood, but certainly, anything approaching an hour. But, even on a good day, most longer than 10 minutes.

11. Thanks - I know - but I am just down on social media and don't want to give any videos clicks.

I can find out what I look for without doing so.
