I work at a computer all day, and these are a must-have. They are similar to reading glasses, however the focal point is a bit further out. You wouldn't want to walk around in them. The blue blocker thing is probably mostly marketing BS, the focal point is really the thing to focus on in my opinion (no pun intended). But it's not an expensive upgrade.

I got a prescription for a progressive version this year so that I could also use them as ordinary reading glasses. These are sometimes called "office glasses". I really hated them; they created all these visual artifacts, and I couldn't get used to them. So, I returned those and got a bifocal version made with computer on top and reading down below. I love this combination and think this is the way to go. The bottom prescription is great for viewing my phone as well.

Keep them by my desktop as you don't need them for laptops which sit below eye level like a book. If laptop has external monitor at eye level, then you need them there.

Just go on Amazon and search for blue blocking eyeglasses. You will get several choices.

I'll check to see what my best option might be.

I tried blue light glasses but couldn't get them to work with my bi-focals, so this looks like a better option.

Thanks again and best wishes.

And just couldn’t deal with it with two large monitors with a laptop in between. It was hurting my neck having to adjust my head all the time. I went to single vision over the counter readers that filter blue light. If you want the blue light filter for your bifocals, you can get clip-ons. Amazon has them. I use polarized clip-ons, the ones that flip up, for sunglasses. Makes it easier to take pictures with a real camera on vacation.
