"Trash words"

I keep seeing a reference to this function, but I am not finding it anywhere. Please let me know how to make it work. TY in advance.

1. Click on 'My DU' on the right side of the page top menu..

You'll see a button called 'Trash Can.' Click that, and you'll be on the page where you can enter words to 'trash.'

When one of the trashed words is used in a post title, that post will not appear for you on any post list page, such as 'general discussions.'

FYI it only works on original post titles: the titles of replies within a post/thread are not impacted. It's still very useful.

5. Do "trashed" posts still appear on the homepage, like ignored users do?

2. Go to My DU

Select Trash Can.

Then Auto-trash by keyword

Add or subtract keywords to trash.

Keywords in the OP's title will "disappear" it and its replies.

Disclaimers:

1. The home page ignores "ignore users" and trash by keyword.

2. The trashing does a substring match!
Trashing "rep" will trash republican, repair, preparation, and so on.
