Related: About this forumHow Do We Ask Administrators Now?
I just got an email about a post being removed.
Problem is, I got the same email over the same post 2 weeks ago.
So, the same post was removed twice?

(18,133 posts)There is no Ask the Administrators any more. I seem to recall its disappearance was an oversight.
There was one thread here https://www.democraticunderground.com/125625008 but that is not the one that mentions the oversight.

(22,550 posts)I see you as having one post removed on March 9, which was your first and only removed post since September 2022. My guess is that this was a misfire of the PM system, possibly related to a few odd issues we've been having since we had to restore the site from backup recently.
To recap: When we attempted a required update a couple of weeks ago, it failed. We had to restore the site from a backup, and since then we've had a few small glitches turning up here and there (for example, we've had to temporarily turn off Journals). However, we can't fix these glitches until the update has been completed, which, it turns out, is going to require a significant amount of reprogramming. Elad is working on this non-stop at the moment, so hopefully that will be completed soon, and then once that's done, we can clean up the glitches and get back to normal.
