Assume you are using OSx - if so, what version and what platform (x64 or Mx)? Or is this on your phone and/or iPad?

15.6.1 is a Safari update that was meant for older OS versions (ex: Big Sur or Catalina). This leads me to think you are running one of those. I am also guessing you are running an Intel based laptop and not one of the newer M1, M2, or M3 chips. 15.6.1 was released over a year ago (Aug 2022 time frame).

You can confirm the hardware version, OS version and the Chipset by clicking the Apple on the menu bar and then "About This Mac" - a simple window will open up.

Mine says:

MacBook pro 16 inch 2021
Chip: Apple M1 Pro
Serial Number:
macOS: Sonoma 14.2 (which means I'm one small patch behind).

I would defer to EarlG to what version of Safari is supported, but I will say that you might try and upgrade to a newer version of macOS if your laptop will support it.

Have you opened up a "private" window and see if that works? If so, then it's some sort of residual issue - cache, cookies, etc. which are impacting things.

Do you have an ad-blocker or some sort of firewall/proxy in place? If so, then that might be impacting how things get loaded.

Are you up to date in your patches and software components?

So does that mean I need to clear cache?

Yes it looks like I am up to date.
