(12,608 posts)They seem to correct themselves after a little bit, but refreshing doesn't fix. I've seen it in Edge and on my iPhone.

(22,550 posts)Can you give me some more information?
Im not sure which page Im looking at in the screenshot
were you trying to post an OP or were you replying to one? Did the post go through, and if so can you give me a link to it? Is the screenshot of the OP after you posted it?
Finally, what type of phone are you using? Thanks.

Posted the op and it went through ok.
Went back to edit by adding the meme, and the screenshot was what displayed after I edited.
Using android Samsung A53 5G.
Thank you!

(22,550 posts)The page looks normal to me on my iPhone, but the fact that it happened after you inserted the image must be a clue. I assume it previewed okay when you were making the edit, then broke after you posted it?
There is some additional text trailing at the end of the image link, which usually isnt a problem but maybe could be in this case.
I assume the post is still looking broken to you, so you might not be able to try an edit on it. If you can edit it, try temporarily removing the image to see if that makes a difference, or just the part of the link trailing the image.
If you cant edit it, I can try it for you if you dont mind.

(21,916 posts)I don't mind at all!

(21,916 posts)Still displays the same.
Weird.

(22,550 posts)I can't reproduce it, and I took a look at the post and there's nothing unusual about it. I don't think that including the image was the problem (especially since it's still happening after you removed it).
What I have noticed from the screenshot is that the top part of the screen is displaying the mobile header as it should, but the lower part looks like it's trying to display the desktop layout, with the large blue button and the big avatar image. Those elements should not display like that on a phone. The avatar image should be way smaller.
Unfortunately I'm a bit baffled because off the top of my head I'm not sure why the page is showing partly the mobile version and partly the non-mobile version. You should get either one or the other, but not a mix of both.
Since this can't be widely reproduced I suspect that it's a quirk which may have something to do with your particular device (although I see you tried clearing your cache and that didn't help). If it is only happening on this thread, perhaps the best bet is to keep monitoring and see if it happens again in other threads. If so, please let me know, because then we can compare the threads and see if they have anything in common.

(21,916 posts)Though the edit button is partially obscured, when I click on it, the op displays properly

(2,438 posts)on EarlG's advice. It worked and have done it a couple of times since.
Go to Settings then
Apps
Chrome
Storage
Then choose clear cache at bottom right.
Hope this helps.
