The e-mail should indicate which post was hidden, why it was hidden, and provide an opportunity to dispute the hide.

As another poster noted, you're free to post in any other threads, so it might be best to chalk it up as a learning experience and move on from that thread, though you're certainly welcome to dispute it if you wish.

i believe this has long been true:

a) if you make a reply in a post/thread
b) and that post was alerted on and then deleted

then

c) you are no longer able to reply in that post/thread

d) but you are able to post/reply on any other thread as usual.

if i understand your situation correctly, there is nothing to do except acceptance. No biggie, you’ll be back on your feet in no time!
