On the home page, DUers' names should be on Trending/Greatest threads, as they were before.

They're much more important on the home page than the names of whoever posted the Featured stories, which are almost always news stories where the headline is what matters.

Trending and Greatest threads are much more likely to be a DUer's personal observations on the news, or a personal request or story. So being able to see who posted something is very important.

If window is about 1000 pixels wide, no authors noted. At about 1500 pixels, authors appear and columns rearrange.

This being 2023, I suspect the layout is optimized for modern smart phones which tend to be 2560 pixels wide (or 1600 wide in vertical mode).

By the way, thanks for pointing out that wide windows change the layout.

that I'm not limited by screen real estate, and that I'm not talking about a phone screen or tablet. I'm assuming people assume that I'm using the appropriate resolution for my screen's size. FWIW, I'm 1920 X 1080 resolution.
