It looks like a redesign but really all I did was bring the tablet version of the home page in line with the version for larger monitors. I was initially concerned that a tablet screen would not be big enough for the full four-column layout, but after making the change I don't think it's a problem.

If you're using a tablet horizontally you get the same homepage layout as the laptop/desktop version. Meanwhile if you're using a tablet vertically, you get the compressed mobile layout, which now has the buttons at the top to expand the Featured Stories or jump straight to the news section.

Overall I'm hoping that this is now working better for everyone. The vertical tablet layout could still use some adjustments but we're going to continue tweaking things as we go
