Text gets tiny when I start to scroll down... (images)

I open a thread and the text is large and easy to read (example #1). But then I start to scroll down to read and it suddenly jumps to this tiny text (example #2)? I am on an android tablet. It recently started doing this reformatting. Is it related to the DU4 upgrade which i have been using when available.🤔

What you’re describing is happening on DU3 so it’s not related to DU4. Was the problem also occurring when you were testing DU4?

4. It didn't happen when I was using the new DU4. Weird android glitch maybe.

I'll be patient and look forward to DU4. I'll just zoom in to read if necessary.

Thank you

11. Further to this... if I click "reply" the text goes back to the readable size.

So now I just click "reply" so i can read posts. Weird, but at least it's something. Also, the replies don't change size, just the OP.

Weird.

3. I've occasionally noticed the same on DU3 w/Android smartphone.

I've seen it also on DU4.(Android also).

At one time and with DU3, I thought there was a connection to type of text, bold, caps, etc. used for posting something immediately before viewing another post which displays with the small font — now I'm not so sure though I never tested that theory.

the cure seems to be to go to settings and click on the Zoom option. That tends to magically heal things, at least for me.

6. I have set the zoom slider to a comfortable level (in the Accessibility settings)

Is that what you mean? If not please let me know if there is another zoom setting. Changing it doesn't solve the glitch I'm getting.

Thanks.

7. I am so technology impaired, I'm not sure I can explain any better.

I can only describe the thing at the upper right of the screen I'm currently looking at (and it's probably important to note that I'm currently on my desktop computer. I don't go on-line on my phone.) and it's labelled "open application menu." It's been a while since I've had that reduction of type size when scrolling down, so I might also be mis-remembering my fix.

I know how incredibly frustrating these kinds of things are.

I like to say that, with all due respect, I long ago decided that monotheism doesn't really explain things. I say that there are clearly other things -- deities, gods, whatever -- that control many things in our lives. For instance, it's clear to me that the technology gods do not like me, and often will not work correctly for me. When I do contact some kind of tech support, after a bit those technology gods let tech support do their thing. Until the next time. However, the parking gods ADORE me. I always get good parking spaces, and if I'm simply a passenger in your car and you normally don't get a good parking space? Trust me, you'll get a good one. Examples: I was attending a popular lecture at the Lensic Theater in downtown Santa Fe, and as I drove up, someone pulled out of the parking space directly across from the theater. Of course I took it. Another time I drove into the parking garage also across from the theater, even though there was a "Full" sign posted. As I drove up, someone pulled out of a good parking space.

Most stories aren't quite that dramatic, but I always get a good parking space. And I always say, "Thank you Parking Gods." I don't ever want them to think I take those good spaces for granted.

I'll just be patient for DU4 and hope the problem solves itself. I'm thinking it's just some odd Android glitch as it seems to happen to other Android users.

But friends and acquaintances are amazed at how I almost always get a good parking space.
