9. You probably will need to clear your cache, which may make you log back in.

A bunch of stuff does not show on the small screen, just because of real estate shortage.

Insert standard suggestion to quit browser and/or delete saved data (not everyone is cool with this stuff).

10. Well, that's good but not for me. I logged off and turned my computer off.

Just brought it back up, about an hour later. My star is still not there.

Maybe the heatwave has something to do with it?

11. I have seen browsers come back with history and cookies.

If you can figure from the menus ( like privacy ) clear browser cache and data.

The menu item depends on your browser if you want to share that here. Someone will know.
