Windows 10 updated last night now Settings says Ethernet connected to internet but chrome can't connect. Message says "There is something wrong with proxy server, or the address is incorrect."
This happened a few times in the past but was very short term.
Any suggestions?

(12,608 posts)It probably was accidentally enabled during the update process.I remember this being very easy, but I cant remember where the setting is. Probably in network settings.
You should be able find the solution with a google search for disable proxy server.
