What are DU rules if hypothetically someone wins a primary that is too extreme?

DU rules state to support Democrats and never bash them, but what if someone extreme wins a Democratic primary somewhere? What is and isn't allowed? Do the same rules still apply? Are they loosened a little? Or should we just not talk about him or her if we have nothing nice to say?

1. My understanding is, you can criticize policy issues

You can disagree with them on policy ACA or Single payer for example. But to question their motives w/o facts to back them up is a no no

Trump and his ilk. If this OP is referring to the candidate I think, then EarlG may have to clarify in the near future. Because that candidate is very likely to be the opposite if they end up elected to Congress. Somehow I doubt the intent was ever to require vocal support of someone overtly trying to sabotage the party and its objectives thereby allowing our RW opponents to prevail--in the name of some long-term aim to promote a third party.

Say nothing.

On an employee Facebook page I ran during my time working I would often criticize my employer by simply not saying anything about what they were doing, but would often mention progressive policies or innovative ideas that competitors or others in the business sector were adopting. All posted without comment. People can and will draw their own conclusions, I just provided the additional information when I came across it.

as long as it's factual, and you dont get into personal attacks, you'll likely be fine.
