I replied to it at 6:42 AM CT (Reply #2). But shortly after (within an hour), I tried to edit it to add some information, and got the 403 Forbidden whenever I click Preview or Update My Post. Have tried many times throughout the day.

Also tried a fresh Reply to the OP a few times with the same result.

I'm using Chrome on a Windows 10 computer. I tried Edge with the same result.

I had no trouble in Chrome (after the problem started) editing a reply in another thread -- an LBN thread https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=2752106

It's not a big deal to me as long as it's confined to the "As Vaccines Turn" thread, but thought I'd report it anyway as it's persisted for about 12 hours now.

Edited to add: Ireland is soaring, according to the little graphette that pops up when you put the mouse over Ireland. But the table doesn't show a percent increase, just a '----' for some reason. Anyway, Ireland's daily new case rate (7 day moving average) is 26, compared to U.K.'s 6.1 and U.S.'s 4.3.

Except for U.K. and Ireland, All European countries have falling new case rates, with a couple of exceptions that are about flat, Russia being one of those.

It wouldn't accept it here either (the double quote version). Same 403 Forbidden.

5. Interesting. Some html thing I suppose. I wish I knew

more about this kind of thing.

Here's another quirk I came across just last night: I tried looking up someone's profile and the only thing I got was a blank screen. I tried several times, even leaving the post and coming back. Everyone else I tried in that post worked as it should. Strange, eh?

6. Do all the icons next to that person's name result in blank screens?

At the top of a post after the user name and the user's post count are 4 icons: "View Profile", "View Journal", "Send DU Mail" and "Ignore this Member" ) ?

7. I should've checked. The poster had an unfamiliar name

and wanted to see if they recently changed it. Today, I don't recall either the OP or the name. Oh well.
