I left for a very long time and then came back. In the past, very few. Over the past few days four or five.

My question was how many posts in total, on an average day, are posted to DU.

The average daily total for DU,
not individual members.

When event happen quickly, many post the same thing and the GD can change pages within an hour, or so.

This is why I was hoping that the administration would bring back the political GD.

and many in between.

Last we had GD 2016 and after DU came back after the hacking, it stayed for a while for many of us to express our frustrations with that most horrible year - little did we know that 2017 would be worse - and then was removed.

I know that I've "Asked the Administrators" several times to split GD and the answer was maybe in 2018. Perhaps others should ask, too.

Last time I remember a split introduced was after the Supreme Court legalizing same sex marriage.

It was a Friday evening, I logged in and was faced with a quiet, relaxed GD with multi colored icons everywhere including, of course, the White House.

All the political bickering were in the GD 2016.

Frankly, I think that we need a Trump GD just for this issue and a GD 2018 for all other campaigns.
