1. I don't know where the link is, sorry, but having had my card hacked last weekend

and apparently cloned, you have my tremendous sympathy. I was awakened late Saturday night by the fraud division of my credit union--yeah that they caught it, but what a way to wake up. Five days and lots of phone calls later, I've dealt with it and have my money back, but still have to figure out where I need to update card numbers.

'Hope your bank/credit union stands by you as mine did for me. Had I had to wait on Master Card, I'd been told I would have to wait 60 days.

someone tried to buy $1500.00 worth of concrete work in FLORIDA... we live in Washington state

luckily Discover declined to process the charge but now we are paranoid...wondering if this could be from the Equifax debacle..

7. My card was cloned (not in Denver, where I could imagine it) but at a Fort Collins Safeway gas pump

I have since gone back (I ONLY PAY CASH NOW AT GAS PUMPS--suggest you do too) and they told me they had had a routine scan of pumps the day before, so clearly I was very unlucky. I am lucky my credit union called me though because it gave me time to call Target.com, Wayfair.com and get nearly $1200 in charges canceled (a total of $3k was attempted). My credit union believes whoever cloned my card sold the information three days later, which fits. Because the card is both credit and debit, Master Card COULD have left me hanging for weeks, had I not gotten the purchases canceled and my credit union not been so accommodating.

It is a pain in the butt, but I will never use anything but cash at outdoor pumps again. I already have pretty much given up on ATMS--even those INSIDE the store.
