How do I find a particular post?

I am trying to find a post from a day or two ago. I know the poster's name, but I haven't found what I'm looking for by looking at recent pages in GD and GD:2016 ( it was in one of those two). Can you walk me through it? Thank you.

You can then type in the poster's name and select other criteria such as a keyword, limit it to Original posts, replies, etc. You will also have better luck limiting the date range. It is best to type in only one word with no spaces before or after the keyword. Good luck.
