DU Community Help
Related: About this forumDoes anyone else use photobucket to embed graphics & photos on DU?
I've been using it forever, without any problems. But just recently it's become useless, as
it won't copy in the "direct" mode or any other mode.
AND/OR ...
Can anyone recommend an alternative photo sharing website to use instead of photobucket?

Seems to work.

(19,326 posts)thanks for doing that .. so it is "just me". LOL.
It's my own account that is fucked up, not the whole site.
I took the advice of that other guy (above) .. opened a new account there.
Too weird .. been using photobucket for like 10-12 years with NO problem
at all. Go figure.

(5,644 posts)You know the area on photobucket image...when you go to click on the image, it gets shaded over. Well, I play around with it for a few seconds until it lets me copy the 'img'. It usually works. That's the only way I can explain it. Sound nuts, I know, but it usually works ever time.

(19,326 posts)I took the advice of someone upstring about another photo
hosting website that seems workable so far.
But it is weird, esp since I've been using photobucket without
any problems whatsoever for like 10 years at least.

(222,283 posts)I posted a pic of my dog in The Lounge about an hour ago. It was way too large, took it with my phone, so I edited it, cropped it a little and made it smaller, and used the Direct link.

(19,326 posts)but maybe I'll double check on that, just to be sure.
Thanks for the suggestion.
