Hi! My name is Patv and I just made 10 posts and read where I should introduce

myself on the Welcome & Help Forum.

I lurked here a few days before joining. I joined because it said DEMOCRATIC Underground. I am only working part-time and I just got a new laptop for Christmas so I'm spending a lot of time on the internet. This place looked interesting so I joined.

I feel real welcome, real welcome. I've already been called a troll. For posting something relevant to an on-going thread. Thanks!

And I truly mean that. You joined during what we call the "primary wars." This is a heated time when emotions run high. We also tend to be suspicious of new members. Of course, everyone was new once upon a time...

So hang on. Things will get much quieter and calmer once we have a nominee.
