DU Community Help
Related: About this forumI am a liberal and I am angry as hell. This looks like just the place for me.
I have been lurking these forums for quite some time and enjoy the exchange of ideas, community discussions and atmosphere of this forum. I can be bristling sometimes but hope to make a positive contribution here in general.

(33 posts)I like all the different topics listed. As dominating as the Presidential campaign has been, I worry about the House & Senate races, as there are many programs, such as Meals on Wheels for seniors that are getting their funding cut or eliminated, which depends on the votes of the elected. I'm unnerved by how many Americans are slipping through the cracks.

(63,221 posts)I thought I was going mad until I found a community of people that thought as I did. And you will find links to other liberal communities through this site as well. People can be a little prickly sometimes, but you just have to laugh it off and focus on the good things that you read and learn. Welcome
