In my signature line in my profile I can only enter one image, and maybe a few words

I use photobucket, the fourth link down, called IMG. The link is interminably long, and I cannot queue up two images. How do you do it, you guys who put on many images, and when I right-click and check them I see that the link is very short.
I feel awfully awkward not knowing.

you enter a long link and it gives you a very short link to use.
see if that helps.

I had considered it and rejected the idea because the link of others suggested they did not do it that way.
You are so helpful, I you

For example an imgur direct link looks like this:

  http://i.imgur.com/k1sDT.jpg

It's free, no account is required, and is easy to use (see an old post of mine about it here - their site layout may have been changed a little since then but the idea is still the same).

Photobucket also runs tinypic. An example of their direct link:

I haven't really used tinypic before. I'm sure there are other image hosting sites that use short web addresses for their user's images, but I since I usually just use imgur or photobucket I wouldn't know which ones have short URLs without a bit of research.
