Do I receive valentine hearts for that purchase?

(227,405 posts)In Ask the Administrators. I've noticed more than one question like yours posted there and Skinner gave the posters hearts to share.

I received the renewal notice with no indication that DU would continue the Valentine hearts tradition. If I'd known, I would have delayed purchase until I could get the hearts without putting in a query.

(227,405 posts)I've seen several posts there from DUers with the same problem and, between Skinner and Elad, they have taken care of the problem right away. That seems to be the way to go, so I'd give that another try. Good luck...

(227,405 posts)Skinner seems to have nearly caught up with the unusual number of queries this week, hoping he lets the heart week run a little longer this time since numerous DUers have run into problems this time around.

(227,405 posts)Is that Skinner doesn't often post on weekends. But since the Valentine heart campaign is such a huge favorite here, I'm hoping he extends it for a day or two since I wouldn't be surprised if many of the unanswered questions in AtA are similar to yours. There seem to be a few glitches this time around...

(17,192 posts)...so I'm not inclined to believe I will receive a timely answer. And again, multiple people have found belatedly that their renewal merited them no valentine hearts. This is a real departure from previous years.

(227,405 posts)I must remember to give Elad a heart. I imagine that he's been pretty busy, keeping up with all the glitches this time around... Though I did notice that the queries that Skinner was able to answer were solved right away, except for the issues with PayPal, which has nothing to do with DU.
