THE COMPASSION REVOLUTION HAS BEEN LAUNCHED!http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022803133
* * *
I've been a member and supporter of OWS from the start; I even scooped up the domain occupycompassion.com a while back, which points to Wishadoo.
I'll post here again on Sunday when I launch the COMPASSION REVOLUTION (see GD link below), but wanted to ask if you would please point me in the many various directions that involve OWS that you feel I should contact, to get them on board as partners in this revolution.
There are so many different groups and networks that have grown from the core of OWS that I always fail in keeping track. Plus, I'm not yet active enough on twitter, and I realize that's where a lot of it takes place.
I will DEFINITELY be contacting Interoccupy but wanted to see if there are other suggestions. I'll be contacting Strike Debt as well, of course...and Occupy Sandy, and, and, and...
Thanks for any suggestions.

(11,076 posts)...and then it would get a few more looks! Pretty sad that compassion, peace and love don't get more attention around here!

I wonder what that would look like here at DU if compassion (which to me encompasses empathy and respect) were part of the process before posting and interacting?
Hmmmm......
Then again, I can vent with the best of 'em.

(62,325 posts)Strike Debt is brilliant, and of course the work that OWS has been doing since the beginning re Sandy, (the media has long forgotten those victims) is amazing.
Have you checked into how they have been winning all the court battles resulting from the thousands of false arrests during the early stages of the movement? What a surprise, the cops lied in order to arrest people.
Twitter is a great way to get information out. Several DUers are members of Twitter so if you have any links you want to have get more attention, let us know and we can help.

Yeah, I agree Strike Debt is absolutely BRILLIANT. I honestly haven't been following the court cases, but that's great that they're winning there as well.
I need a twitter sherpa.
First, I did create an OP in GD to announce the launch of the Compassion Revolution (I was so immersed in creating all the pieces of the puzzle to be able to launch it yesterday that I didn't realize how much Glenn Beck was in the news until I saw GD; it's ironic, considering his role in this revolution.)

I must focus on work-work today and thus have no time for outreach to OWS or other groups, but if you have any mojo to at least get SOME followers for the Compassion Revolution on twitter, I would be forever grateful.

If you don't mind, following Wishadoo on twitter would be appreciated as well:

I'm anxious to use a fairly new tool -- https://www.thunderclap.it/ -- which amplifies the power of FB and twitter to send a message in unison. I'm waiting for approval now for the Compassion Revolution.
Many thanks, and have a great day!

(23,423 posts)I'm really in love with this tool thus far, seeing the success others (like the UN and The White House!) have had.
