Ron Paul supporters need a coherent world-view because uncertainty scares them, and he offers them that, and so they adopt it without question. He's an ideologue and they like that approach.

on that. Been to a few rallies where people who look like chalk on board on tv have that air... and some where they are just stiff as can be when with followers and not with followers.

As I said, as a reporter I will be there to cover the news. Most likely a rally, that's it. The ONLY breaking nooz I could foresee given where we are at the campaign is if he announced some sort of alliance with Santorum to have some fun at the Convention. Aka how to advance his platform.

He tells the truth.
He does what he says he will do.
Anyone who is familiar with his record knows that Paul will do as he claims.

When in the memory of the oldest among us has there been a politician who tells the truth as he sees it, irrespective of whether it will advance his position? What a novelty!

Those things being said, we vote for him to get our children home from the wars, or out of prison. We vote for him so WE can decide what to spend our paychecks on. We vote for him because competition in government is an essential feature of the Constitution which must not be ignored.
