This forum is as bad as the people still arguing about the Civil War

I don't get it anymore - aren't there present day issues to focus on now?

I keep trying to figure out why there's a need to continue this circular arguing. And yes.. I know I can just ignore it but I am perplexed as to why it is continuing to the level it is.

This is the right forum for a lot of it. What about that isn't a "present day issue"?

I also think this forum is helping to keep GD clean.

It probably helps some people with the grieving process.

Don't tell me there won't be opportunities!!!

Pick a few issues, work hard on them in public and with legislation, and hold the GOP feet to the fire.

There are present day issues to discuss. Like how the democratic party ended up in such a dismal place. How we can nominate candidates that can't beat the likes of Donald Trump. Where are we going from here? How do we keep losing state houses. Why candidates like Russ Feingold lose.
