How quickly did we see the entire GOP fall in line behind Drumpf when he became the nominee. Even Utah, the state that put an unknown candidate on the ballot quicker than you can say "NeverTrump" because they couldn't bear to explain their backing the "p" grabber to their children, voted for him, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is going to Washington to sing at his Inauguration.

But we're too busy imposing our purity tests on our candidates that we can't see the forest for the trees.

One thing I hate is being misunderestimated as to my intelligence.

As my denial falls away I am becoming completely bereft.

I am a very independent and resourceful person, but all I want to ask is who or what will help us? Lead us? Save us? I no longer feel capable, or trust that truth will out.

1) The Republican electorate doesn't care, and GOP hypocrisy is so run-of-the-mill that it doesn't seem to impact Democratic turnout.

2) The media, if it even mentions it, will just create a false equivalency or allow a guest GOP strategist to do it for them. Such-and-such Democrat said something hypocritical, therefore all hypocrisy is fine and dandy.

3) Even if the mainstream media was responsible, see point #1.

It's pretty damn depressing.

To prevent dems holding a congressional majority in a census year. As soon as we do, their gerrymandering will be undone, and the demographics of Real and Actual America will relegate them to a century-long minority (where their hatred of nonwhite nonrich people actually belongs).
