Bernie says he wants a revolution - here's his chance

UPDATE » UFA has just confirmed House Representative Barbara Lee (D-CA) has agreed to file an objection against electoral votes tomorrow (Jan. 6) if we can find ONE Senator to join her. These are the top Senators to contact:

Sen. Al Franken (D-MN / 202.224.5641)
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY / 202.224.6542)
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT / 202.224.2823)
and YOUR local Democratic Senator

This is massive. Late last night a bombshell report was released by a team of legal experts uncovering over 50 Republican electoral votes for Trump that cannot be certified because they were cast in direct violation of state and federal law:

16 Republican electors lived outside the congressional districts they represented
34 additional Republican electors held dual offices as a presidential elector and a state official
The report also finds 16 Democrat electoral votes that were cast in direct violation of election laws.

Not sure why Bernie's not on this list, but he can certainly step up and stand with Rep. Lee on this.

Two other possibilities would be Ed Markey or Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts!

Remember the scene in Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911 when African American House members were begging for a Senator for help? No one did!

Will they really let it happen again?

And DU sent her thousands of roses to thank her. I remember every bit of it because I watched the goings on in the chamber from her office in D.C. with Andy Stephenson and a few other election integrity activists.

That's what Michael Moore depicted in Farenheit 911.

Barbara Boxer did object in 2005 - partly because, she said at the time, she regretted not standing with the CBC in 2001.

From the article in the OP:

WILL THIS STOP TRUMP?
It's possible in theory, but it would require the new Republican-led Congress to sustain all of the objections. This would bring Trump's electoral count below 270, and the House would then immediately vote for president out of the top 3 candidates with the highest electoral counts: Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, or the highly-respected General Colin Powell, who received 3 electoral votes.

This is obviously a last ditch effort to stop Trump and I seriously doubt it has much chance of success. It would cause an uproar with conservatives and problably would precipitate a constitutional crisis.

Still in my opinion Colin Powell would make a better President than Trump assuming he would take the job. He's extremely intelligent and has an excellent background. Plus he definitely has good leadership skills.

I doubt if Powell wants any part of the job.

There was no revolution. He uses the term to keep his base of Independents filling the coffers. His use of the less than honest verbiage is a good move for his career and retirement on a personal level, not collective.

I do have serious issues with him. Some simply see hate in everything. I find the deitization of a career politician to be comical. I hear he was once a carpenter.

Joe Biden started his career in the Senate at 30 years old. I guess he sucks too in your eyes because he is a career politician that has been lionized.

As for a carpenter, my grandfather was a carpenter. Your point? Are you suggesting Bernie is viewed as Jesus?

There are alot of career politicians that DUer do that with. Face it. . .you just hate Bernie.

No, you have pure Bernie hate because there is an "I" in front of his names rather than a "D."

I do agree with you. Sanders is a career politician. His career shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence with such accomplished people like Kennedy and Biden.

The carpenter lines were some of the best to come out of the primary. The direct link at the deitization of a career politician with extremely limited success was outrageously funny. One of the few points of levity.

I don't hate Bernie. I actually hate very very few people in this world. Maybe that's why you don't get it and keep telling me who I hate. Hate is a debilitating emotion that can reside within anyone. I would self-reflect if I were you on how easy it comes to you. The only way you can go around telling people who they hate is if your hear is already full of hate. I wish you the best as it truly harms every area of ones life.

This is the perfect time for a revolution. Americans should be revolting everywhere against this Russian takeover of our Country. This may be our last chance to save America.

Just wondering if Bernie has commented at all on this Russian coup over our democracy? Maybe he has, but I haven't heard anything from him regarding this.
