Wake up Trump, Leading the USA is not a campaign...

There are scholar presidents, and presidents who don’t read much, and then there is President-elect Donald Trump, who has said he has no time for books at all. But he does enjoy a few historically themed movies—one of which is Patton, George C. Scott’s 1970 embodiment of the World War II general. Patton is one of the very few role models Trump held up during his campaign; he frequently rued the fact that the military lacked modern-day Pattons, and when he picked retired Marine Gen. James Mattis as his defense secretary, Trump proclaimed Mattis “the closest thing we have to Gen. George Patton.”

Trump’s affection for Patton matches a renewed love for the general on the Fox right; he’s the idol of a certain conservative worldview. One of Bill O’Reilly’s best-selling conspiracy books, Killing Patton, offered a preposterous mishmash of WWII vignettes and undocumented conjecture about the December 1945 traffic accident in which Patton was fatally injured.

1. No Surprise

All the GOP does is run permanent campaigns and they suck at governing because they don't believe in government.

2. That doesn't mean Trump won't still have others do all the work.

He'll show up when he feels like it, take credit for anything that happens to go well, lie about whatever doesn't, and blame others for whatever he can't lie about.

Just as he did for his first seven decades.

That's even enough for a lot of day-to-day business, but it will be disastrous when an informed decision is needed.
