It's true that in 2016, non-college whites swung to the GOP by a 15-point margin relative to 2012. But Clinton underperformed Obama among voters of all races who make less than $30,000 per year by an identical margin. If the pundits were churning out hundreds of columns about how the Dems need to win back low-income voters, it would likely have a more salutary effect on Democratic policy.

(10,541 posts)You can look at how she did in certain precincts and it is clear that she outperformed Obama among Hispanics.
Latinos and Jews are the two groups that she did better with than Barack Obama did.
Typically gop gets 20, trump got 14

(37,428 posts)They voted for a bubble boy who's never held a real job or lived without a slate of nannies/handlers on 24-hour call. They thought no one could own him, not realuzing that he was already owned by the remnants of his father's fortune, and his desperate need to prop it up.
They voted for an "independent" man who doesn't know what he's doing.
