Really sad day for the US

I believe Trump will flame out and resign or be impeached before 2020, but in the meantime we have to go through the Presidency of an unqualified, radical right lunatic. Just look at his cabinet choices - they are even worse than what George W. Bush had. "Alt right" doesn't even convey how bad they are. A lot of things can be blamed - from Hillary's message to the DNC to the party going to the right on economic matters to the FBI to Russia to Wikileaks to the media to stupidity in this country - and while I think Bernie was a very positive force, I admit a few BernieBro types went too far. But now we must move ahead and resist Trump just like they resisted President Obama. A day of mourning, but as they say, it is always darkest before the dawn. We need to get a deep bench and already prepare for 2020 whether it is Trump or Pence we are up against. Anyway, had to vent!

Post here how you are coping.

BTW this thread has elements of regular GD also, so can post there if the mods desire.

"Go f**k yourself. I didn't vote for him, leave me alone, it's not my problem, go to hell, where's my money? Did I remember to say go f**k yourself?"

I haven't made much progress since then.

I'm starting to feel rejuvenated and ready to go. I'm going to devote more of my resources toward the political sphere at the local level.

I'm coping by taking actions that will lead to a better future for all. I was down pretty bad. Trump does not and will not define me. I won't simply be working to trash him. I'm much better at building people up.

That said, fuck Trump.

with their unfathomably ugly spirits.

Just Ugh. We need strong, fighting leadership and a forceful, surging ground game.
