BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE
Ari Emanuel refused to release videotapes from the Miss Universe archives despite requests from Democrats in the weeks before the presidential election, according to a report in The Daily Beast.
Emanuel, a Democratic Party supporter whose brother, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, was President Obamas first White House chief of staff, is CEO of WME-IMG, which bought the Miss Universe pageant rights and its archived video library from President-elect Donald Trump in 2015.
Some sources have told The Daily Beast that there could be video of Trump that would have been damaging to his presidential candidacy.

(20,257 posts)But I highly doubt whatever might have been uncovered would have made any significant difference in the election outcome. If that "grab 'em by the pussy" tape wasn't enough to sink Drumpf, then it's hard to fathom that his supporters would have been dissuaded by another similar scandal.

(33,012 posts)If "I like to grab them by the pussy" didn't cause more than a shrug, I doubt anything Emanuel had would budge opinions. There is all kinds of damaging video that is already public. None of it has swayed anyone. When Comrade Trump said he could go into Times Square, shoot someone, and get away with it, he was not kidding.
