Will we know the results of the electoral college today?

I know the official count of the electoral college will be conducted & reported on Jan 6. However, the various states count and send certificates of results to DC. Is there any chance we will know the outcome today? Is the counting public?

I'm not sure if reporters will be able to ascertain the numbers before then.
