in not voting for Trump but for another Republican of their choosing. And according to them they are now recruiting Dems to join them, but they would have to be willing to cast their vote for another Repug as the Hamilton Faithless are not willing to vote for Hillary even though she has garnered more than 2.6M legitimate votes than Trump. I say no way should they agree to such terms.

Should they be able to pull it off, they'd just pick another repugnant member of the GOP who wants to lower corporate tax rates to 15%, allow corporations to repatriate profits sitting off shore somewhere which they will use to create jobs here in America (ha ha), and eliminate the inheritance tax, and allow Wall St bankers and Hedgefund managers to keep treating their earned income as Carried Interest which allows them to pay federal taxes at the Capital Gains rate of 10% and 20% while paying no Social Security and Medicare Taxes. The Repugs will lower taxes while allowing Trump to go on an Infrastructure Spending spree and Defense Spending spree which will blow a hole in the National Debt which will leave Paul Ryan with no choice but to gut Social Security and Medicare benefits for the masses because we can longer pay our debt at the current levels because Wall St. bankers are calling for the Fed to hike the federal interest rates at the same time.

There is a push to cast a vote for John Kasich - I'll take it. I am pretty sure any push for electors to cast a vote for Clinton will be viewed as partisan and it's simply not productive for us to think otherwise. We are fighting to protect democracy by asking electors to fulfill their constitutional duty by blocking a demagogue influenced by foreign power. When it comes to Trump, impeachement won't work cause the house is demoralized and senate alone is not sufficient.

I understand there is a possibility that the house will vote for Trump anyway but it's not a given. Paul Ryan is at odds with Trump in regards to many issues including free trade. I think most republicans will be comfortable with Kasich.

CIA is throwing us a bone and moral ground for electors to become 'faithless'.

The recounts were a bust. The perpetrators of ballot theft hid their crimes well. Hillary Clinton, not Jill Stein should have led the recount charge to reclaim what was rightfully hers. But she wimped out when we needed her leadership the most, "sour grapes" be damned!

At this point, I'll be pleased if the EC would just deny Trump the 270 votes he needs to be president. Yes, Congress will choose another republican. If I survived George W, I can survive anybody the repubs appoint as president. I can cool my jets for 4years while we rebuild the Dem party and stage a quiet revolution.

I support only the objective to remove Trump, his evil offspring and the cabinet from hell.

a seemingly legitimate action. Gerrymandering and purging have been normalized by the media.

There has been no pressure on the electoral college to do what is right, time for them to step up and save the Republic.

By RIGHT it should by Hillary. On the other hand, batshit Republican versus Trump is that you get the batshit Republican except the non-Trump batshit Republican would presumably not be a stooge for Russian authoritarianism, nor would accidentally a nuclear war with China.

The main issue is that Republicans are far more willing to swallow Trump - many of them won't mind being a Russian satellite as long as they send America back to the 1920s.

Like, the EC chooses Hillary in exchange for the repugs getting to choose Scalia's replacement?

While not ideal, that certainly is better than Herr Dumpf being President. There may not be much more than a smoking crater in the ground to "take back" in 2020 if that happens.
