(7,297 posts)Their goal is to stop Trump, and they believe they can do that if Republicans in the House have three choices instead of two. The only way that can happen is if they can turn enough Trump electoral votes to a third person, and they believe that Republican electors are more likely to do that if some Democratic electors do it as well.
