Mea culpa
This last month has been very difficult for me, as I'm sure it has been for a lot of Americans. I have to admit, I didn't see this coming until way too late. I can remember hoping casino don would get the nomination because he was the easiest to beat. We had a 4th of July cookout (20-25 of my friends) and all of us were elated the he was going to be the nominee. We were going to take back the Senate and maybe the House was in play!
Well living in red Virginia, I saw some warning signs. A lot of trump-pence yard signs, but hell what does that mean? Interacting with people I've known for a long time I saw a reluctance to talk about the election. Ok, Hillary crushed the debates. Game over right? I bought into the whole Sam Wang model etc. Still didn't see a landslide but she was going to win this thing.
Well, I am angry at my fellow americans. They have shit the bed and now we are supposed to sleep in it! It's gonna whole lot worse before it even starts to think about getting better.
