I think Trump thinks president of the US is the best investment opportunity ever!

Mr. Trump in 2014 owned an investment between $100,001 and $250,000 in United Technologies Corp., according to financial disclosure forms filed during the presidential campaign. It couldnt be learned whether he still had a financial investment in the company because disclosure forms are filed only annually. Mr. Trumps 2015 disclosure is the most recent one available and was filed in May 2016.
His 2015 form showed he owned one or more corporate bonds issued by United Technologies. The bond investment, held in a brokerage account through a Deutsche Bank AG unit, paid between $2,501 and $5,000 in interest for the year, the form said, but it valued the investment at between nothing and $1,000. His 2014 financial form for 2014 indicated he held an investment in United Technologies in the same account that paid interest in the same range, with a value between $100,001 and $250,000.
It isnt clear what happened to the investment between 2014 and 2015. Mr. Trump didnt indicate on the form that he had sold the investment and he didnt appear to report capital gains for such a sale.

(406 posts)Even if this is reported on MSM, most of his supporters are too dense to even understand the basics of a "conflict of interest", much less the precedent this sets for what's going to come to pass in his term.
I read yesterday somewhere where a Trump supporter was all "So what? Like...I'm sure he really cares about protecting that $2500." Ugh.

(406 posts)And this is precisely why he should put all his business affairs in a blind trust. An actual blind trust and not the janky ass double speak situation he's trying to pass off as a blind trust right now. And his kids need to stay the hell out of meetings and anything and everything else having to do with the Oval Office.

(406 posts)are probably conveniently excluded. Probably due to a caveat that the tariff applies to companies that left the US, and not to companies who have been contracted with to manufacture and distribute products who were never in the US to begin with.
Damn Hillary. If she just coulda done something about this in her 30 years in government. (Sarcasm card.)
