Related: About this forumAs an undecided voter Sanders win in Michigan is HUGE
People can say all they want about Clinton and the math still being in her favor, the fact that the polls were so far off means that they aren't reliable going forward. I still have some issues with his verbalizations when it comes to some racial issues, but I believe his heart is in the right place and thats what should matter. Its just one state but his support among Blacks was narrowed greatly tonight and it seems like there could be a difference between northern Blacks, which I am vs southern Blacks. Will be very interesting to listen to the analysis. Not sure this changes things overall considering in the end its all about the math, but psychologically this was a big blow to Hillary Clinton, even if it was only by a couple points. Things getting very interesting. Those superdelegates will need to switch on over if somehow Bernie is able to pull ahead.

Best to you as you decide who to support.

(1,048 posts)My state doesn't vote until the end of April and with Bernie's win I feel like it may have some significance now. Perhaps things won't be settled by then.

(8,561 posts)If you are concerned about electability in November, Bernie is consistently doing well among unaffiliated voters in open primary states. I don't have a link, but I read last night that they went 3:1 for Sanders in Michigan.
My state's primary is also at the end of April, and I am so excited that this year my primary vote will matter.

(7,830 posts)I moved here a couple of years ago from a southern state, & it still feels like I'm in the south.
I'm worried about Ohio.

(193 posts)Tonight could have been a fluke like MA loss was for Sanders given the polling. If Ohio results in a similar outcome next week then you can definitely argue this point.
