... first of all: I know you were having serious health issues and I hope things are doing much better.

It seems to me the interviewer speaks very good Japanese, so much so she seems to have a Japanese accent when she speaks English. Another thing that strikes me is that when the interviewees were discussing things that they were uncomfortable with, they never showed showed a hyper negativity, as close as they got was about westerners invading privacy with cameras, smoking outside of designated areas and gawking so much as to trip over others or break up movement of others.

The other thing is protocol on transportation. This was the only thing where the annoyance was pretty intense. Just like here in the US, actually.

At any rate as lightly carried out as the interviews were, they were interesting and very informative.
