One of the greatest moments in my life

The few weeks Atsu Sakurai of the group Buck-Tick (see below) shared his time with us in the Ichiban Jpop Kurabu chat room on IMVU was nothing short of EPIC!

We learned about life on the road, what it was liked to go out on the stage nearly every night to packed houses and stadiums ..traveling from town to town in Japan, than making the leap to other countries on world tours.

I remember asking him, what was it like to go out on stage with so many eyes on you.. and he told me, that he always felt sick before walking on stage so he brought vomit bags in his case. Said he never ate anything prior to showtime , at least two hours. Of course after the concert they were ravaged so they would go back to their hotels, shower change and hit up some place together and dig into
a huge meal, sometimes sushi.. or what ever they were up for. I got such an interesting perspective of what it was like to be a super Rock star in Japan.. and to some extent the rest of the places they went on world tours.

Atsu is still going strong, despite being older now.. but he can still belt out some of their classic songs..
